Backed by over thirty six (36) years of experience with Bell and Expertech Network Installation, Pierre was notably lineman, cable splicer, Central Office Technician and Quality Assurance Manager.
As such, he acted as a consultancy-audit on many projects for the Bell network in both Québec and Ontario in addition to be involved in operations’ support in all aspects of installation standards.
Throughout the years, he trained hundreds of new linemen as well as giving experienced linemen updating overhead network courses. He also trained Ontario entrepreneurs, whom could be called upon to work as sub-contractors for Expertech, quality assurance inspectors and network designers from Bell’s engineering department team.
Recognized for his passion for the lineman trade, Pierre is, without a doubt, the reference when it comes to work practices. He took part in the development of many of these practices, whether it pertains to the dismantling of an overhead network or new applications due to technological changes.
As a lineman, Pierre managed to stand out because of his fast learning abilities with everything that has to do with equipment, tools or vehicles. He can, among other things, operate all types of bucket trucks with booms, truck-mounted (center or corner) boom cranes and also specialised vehicles such as Muskegs or Terrain Master, not to mention trailers. Moreover, he has contributed to the development and concept of the new line trucks at the end of the nineties.
Throughout his career, his expertise was sought many times for documentary projects such as poll installation for the company LPB or underground cables installation. He even participated on television, on an advertisement for Bell where he climbs a pole with spurs.
Pierre was awarded many distinctions throughout his career; he received among other prizes, the « Best Driver » award in Ottawa for eight (8) consecutive years, the « President » award in 2001 as well as the « Émérite » and « Bravo » awards.
Pierre is passionate and that is the reason why he created PIERRE QUENNEVILLE INCOMM Ltd, in 2014, in order to continue to pass on his passion of the trade to generations to come.
